BHS Corrugated Process Training Seminars (PTS) for Mexican customers

In May, two BHS Corrugated Process Training Seminars (PTS) in Spanish language took place in Mexico. The first one was from May 16th until 19th in Mexico City and the second one from May 22nd till 25th in Monterrey. Organization and administration of the two seminars was done by the ANFEC (Asociación Nacional de Fabricantes de Cajas y Empaques de Cartón Corrugado y Fibra Sólida, A.C.).

In the 2 seminars were more than 50 participants from different Mexican board producers and out of all fields which are related to the corrugator, including operation and maintenance supervisors, production and plant managers as well as people which are responsible for production and process optimization.

Within this seminar the participants got a detailed knowledge about the process of corrugated board production. This included the know-how about machinery, as well as the knowledge about the basic components of corrugated board: water, starch glue, paper and heat in form of steam. It also pointed out how these different factors are interacting with each other and how they influence the production.

The trainers of BHS Corrugated which are throughout the whole year on different BHS Corrugated customers sites all over the globe transferred their wide variety of experiences out of the field to the classroom. This leaded to the fact that the seminars were more an active group discussion, than just a monologue.

All in all the seminars were a great success and BHS Corrugated would like to thank the ANFEC and its whole team for the excellent organization and coordination. BHS Corrugated is also looking forward to repeating this seminar next year and to enlarging the cooperation with the ANFEC with other similar events.
