Your future responsibilities include:
- central contact partner in the field of actuator and drive technology
- calculation, dimensioning and definition of drive technology for newly developed machines
- development of a digital twin with focus on "drives" and verification in a system simulation
- introduction of new optimization methods for the commissioning of real or digital prototypes
- design of standardized drive applications
- cooperation with PLC / embedded systems programmers for optimized interfaces
- use of simulation tools such as MATLAB Simulink and establishment of a future workflow in development projects
Your professional and personal profile:
- completed degree in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology, drive technology, physics, applied mathematics, mechatronics or similar education
- several years of professional experience in the design and development of new drive concepts for the construction of special machinery and if possible, experience with system suppliers such as ABB, Baumüller, Lenze, SEW or Siemens
- programming skills in the field of automation technology (ideally S7, TIA Portal, Simotion, Codesys) as well as basic knowledge of the development of high level languages (C++, C#)
- experience in communication technologies (PROFINET, EtherCAT, CAN) and Matlab Simulink skills preferred
- experience in setting up and solving differential equations (analytical and numerical) is a plus
- high level of understanding of physics as well as structured and independent work method
- collaborative sills and high level of self-motivation
- good command of English
