Software Architect (m/f/d) IoT and Controls

Your future tasks:

• You are responsible in a cross-location team for the definition of current and future overall control, IoT and communication software architecture consisting of visualization, order processing and control software with the industry 4.0 software architecture (communication, GUI, advisors, etc.)
• In addition, your responsibility covers a cross-location team for the definition of current and future system concepts to achieve a modularized and standardized software architecture
• Based on your technical expertise and your understanding of the corrugating process element, you define system functions and their related modules
• You consolidate business and customer requirements and integrate them in a consistent and verifiable system specification
• Defining the functional software module behavior of prototypes regarding the SoS- und Sytems integration for validation and verification purposes
• Within the framework of specification and architecture, you implement risk-minimizing technical measures
• You enable and promote a control software versioning, deployment, configuration-management automated software testing environment

Requirements:

• successfully completed university education in electrical engineering, physics, information science, systems-engineering
• several years of professional experience in systems modeling and requirement-engineering (SysML or UML, functional decomposition, signal, stock and energy flow descriptions, etc.) in software development
• strong background in C++/C# and Java
• In addition, you have comprehensive knowledge in at least three of the following disciplines: SysML/UML modeling and (software) architecture definitions, machine control (PLC- Siemens/Beckhoff,B&R,BoschRexroth), production automations, robotics, autonomous driving vehicles and communication protocols, real-time systems, Linux
• Ideally, you have a systems-engineering certification and know-how of Siemens TIA
• You have already proven expediently your project management abilities in product development projects and have hereby also benefited from your strong communication and negotiating skills
• Analytical thinking, self-confident manner and very good English knowledge is completing your profile
