Software Developer (m/w/d) for Drive Technology

Your future responsibilities include:
- central contact partner for drive technology matters within BHS
- calculation, dimensioning and definition of drive technology for new developments
- development of a “digital drive twin“ and verification in an overall simulation
- introduction of new methods for the commissioning of real and digital prototypes
- development of standardized drive applications
- replication of drive technology tasks in simulation tools, in cooperation with drive suppliers
- establishment of a virtual system as digital twin of a corrugator including actuator technology
Your professional and personal profile:
- degree in electrical engineering and/or mechatronics or comparable qualification
- experience in setting up and solving differential equations (analytical and numerical)
- several years of professional experience in the design and development of new drive concepts for the construction of special machinery and optimally, experience with system suppliers such as ABB, Baumüller, Lenze, SEW and Siemens
- experience with PLC controls (S7, Simotion, Codesys and/or TIA Portal) is a plus
- Matlab Simulink skills
- experience in the use of modeling tools for virtual commissioning (e.g. ISG Virtuos)
- structured and independent work method

- good command of English
