Your future responsibilities include:
- development of software solutions in the field of machinery and plant engineering both at the control center level and for system solutions
- application of approved software development processes and methods
- participating in system and software architecture matters during the development of new software solutions
- development and implementation of new software development methods
- implementation / introduction of automated software tests
- deployment in a wide range of automation platforms, embedded systems, PC systems but also in classic automation platforms such as Siemens TIA
- definition of software interfaces
- realization of specific solutions in systems distributed worldwide
- self-organized collaboration and technical exchange with specialist departments and cooperation partners
Your professional and personal profile:
- verifiable professional experience as software developer, software engineer or in a similar field
- Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering or a related subject with a technical or scientific background if possible, with a doctorate
- great interest in development and production processes in the field of mechanical and machine engineering as well as automation technology
- knowledge of and experience in programming with high level languages such as C#, C++, Python, Java, etc.
- control knowledge in IEC 61131-3
- basic skills in software design and development in a test-driven environment and state-of-the-art open source frameworks and tools such as GitHub
- ability to work independently and willingness to always learn something new
- very good command of German and English, both spoken and written
