On November 18 and 19, the 30th Technical Members' Meeting (TMV) of the German Association of the Corrugated Board Industry (VDW) took place at the Lufthansa Seeheim conference hotel. BHS Corrugated was one of 39 exhibitors showcasing a booth at the event.
The approximately 470 visitors were given exciting insights into the following topics in numerous presentations and spotlights:
- Main lecture: The autonomous corrugator - dream or future? (Thomas Murr)
Spotlight: NEW Cassette Facer ⎸CF-A (Andreas Breu)
Spotlight: The future of maintenance - do you use data? (Dr. Victor Naumann)
Spotlight: BHS Resource Monitoring (Bernhard Müller)
Dr. Stefan Trenz was also on the panel for a discussion on “Increasing efficiency through transparent data”.
The dinner event organized by us and our partner BOBST at the Motorenfabrik Darmstadt was a successful conclusion to the first day and provided the perfect setting for networking in a stylish atmosphere. The highlight of the evening was the keynote speech by Christoph Burkhardt, AI expert and Silicon Valley entrepreneur. Mr. Burkhardt took around 200 guests on a journey into the future in which, for example, individual purchasing decisions are controlled by the use of artificial intelligence.
