BHS Corrugated honored with TOP 100 award for the third time

04.02.2025

BHS Corrugated has won the TOP 100 innovation competition for the third time and now bears the TOP 100 seal 2025. The award ceremony will take place on June 27 at the Rheingoldhalle in Mainz, where science journalist and competition mentor Ranga Yogeshwar will personally congratulate all the winners.

TOP 100 is based on a scientific selection process led by innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke. On behalf of compamedia, the organizer of the competition, he and his team analyzed the innovative strength of the participants on the basis of more than 100 test criteria, which were divided into five categories: Innovation-promoting top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organization, external orientation/open innovation and innovation success.

At its core, the TOP 100 analysis is about whether innovations are the result of structured innovation management in companies - or whether they arise by chance. “Innovation means acting instead of reacting,” says Franke, "it means actively shaping the future instead of hoping that nothing will change.”

Christian Engel is delighted to have made it into the TOP 100 once again: “This award reflects exactly what we stand for: BHS Corrugated is a medium-sized company that has made it to the top of the corrugated industry through sustainable innovations. We see the TOP 100 award as confirmation of our innovative activities and would like to share this success with all our employees, who have made a significant contribution to this through their daily commitment."
