Communication Design winner! BHS Corrugated wins Red Dot Award once again!
BHS Corrugated has won the Red Dot Award: Communication Design 2018 for the BHS Corrugated Machine Control Center (MCC). With this success, BHS Corrugated has won another Red Dot award, after winning the Product Design Award, a few months before.
The modular BHS Corrugated Machine Control Center (MCC) is the intersection of a corrugator and its user. It is integrated in the corrugator’s modules and every control station. Its intuitive user interface with multitouch technology complies with the corrugator’s product design.
All modules of the system and their production values are shown in a panorama view. This allows the user to see current data, adjust settings and also to show or hide entire system modules. A colorful, always visible code stripe shows the status of all modules and provides notifications about
required actions. The reduced and mainly graphic user interface design allows the user to read the
system from a distance and makes the product usable internationally.
The Red Dot Design Award is presented by a jury to products with outstanding quality. The prizes are distributed in the categories “Product Design”, “Communication Design“ as well as “Design Concept“. For this years´ Red Dot Award companies and designers from 45 different nations have sent more than 8,600 innovations. The presented products represent the current state of communication design and give a forecast in its future.
BHS Corrugated is proud of winning another Red Dot Award and thanks all of them who have contributed to achieve the Red Dot Award: Communication Design 2018.
