BHS Corrugated offers the market-established NICE Rolls® program for corrugating roll supply, including service packages. NICE Cassette supplements the corrugating roll supply for your Modul Facer®, consisting of cassettes with pre-adjusted corrugating rolls. How long does it take to produce a corrugating roll?

BHS Corrugated calculates a production time of approx. 3-4 months for new corrugating rolls. Reworking a corrugating roll set takes approx. 8-10 weeks.

What coatings are available for corrugating rolls?

85% of all corrugating rolls manufactured by BHS Corrugated are supplied with a tungsten carbide coating. Alternatively, specially applied corrugating rolls can also be manufactured with a chrome coating or without any coating at all. The coating may vary depending on the paper quality. How many running meters does a set of corrugating rolls achieve?

As a rule, a B-Flute and C-Flute corrugating roll set with tungsten carbide coating achieves approx. 60+ running meters with good maintenance and care. A tungsten carbide-coated E-Flute corrugating roll set achieves approx. 25+ running meters.

How often can a corrugating roll be reworked?

With optimum handling of a corrugating roll set and no major damage, corrugating rolls can be reworked 1-2 times thanks to today's modern sanding technology.

Does BHS Corrugated also produce corrugating rolls for other machine manufacturers?

Yes, BHS Corrugated produces corrugating rolls for all common Single Facer machine manufacturers and also offers regrinding of these corrugating rolls.
