Your future responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable systems in Azure which support the development at BHS utilizing Terraform, Ansible, Python, Docker, Kubernetes and GitHub Actions
  • Optimize and troubleshoot existing systems, like our CI/CD platform, to ensure availability, safety, performance and maintainability
  • Think outside the box during the cooperation with our software developers to find solutions that best support their needs
  • Cooperate and coordinate with teammates located in Germany and India
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services, Terraform developments etc. and industry trends to incorporate new technologies into our stack
  • Actively contribute to the design and implementation by participating in daily, review, planning and retrospective meetings

Your professional and personal profile:

  • At least 3 years of proven experience with Microsoft Azure (Virtual machines, VNET, Storage accounts etc)
  • Profound expertise in Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform and Ansible)
  • Thorough understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Expertise in pipeline based CI/CD tools. For example, Gitlab-CI or GitHub Actions
  • Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Server systems
  • High sense of responsibility
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience with Python is a plus
