As an IT Operations Engineer, you are responsible for maintaining and further development of our IIoT environment. You will work closely with our team in Weiherhammer on our IIoT platform using modern and best-in-class tools and platforms, providing you with the opportunity to grow and develop your skills.

Your future responsibilities include:
- Provisioning and configuration of virtual machines (Linux / Windows)
- Deployment, configuration, running and monitoring of our IIoT services
- Administration of our IIoT services
- Discover and apply automation potential
- Integration of plant-services into our central cloud platform
- Close collaboration with engineering and development teams in our headquarters in Germany
- Contribute to technical specification and documentation
- Apply industry best practices in software development
Your professional and personal profile:
- Completed university degree, preferably in computer science or similar field of study
- Professional experience with infrastructure and operating systems (Linux / Windows)
- Applied knowledge in administration and operation of business software solutions
- Proficiency in defining infrastructure as code, CI/CD and containerization of software. Container orchestration is a plus
- Basic knowledge in ticketing-, collaboration- and documentation-software (e. G. JIRA, Confluence)
- Knowhow about cloud environments is beneficial
- International experience especially with headquarters organizations in Germany is an advantage.
- Self-contained, structured and well-organized working style
- Effective oral and written English communication skills - German is a plus
