Your future responsibilities include:
- development of machine controls
- development of automation concepts, functional specifications and function diagrams of interface development in the field of IT / OT in combination with OPC UA
- management of subjects relating to actuator and sensor technology
- virtual commissioning and testing of functional elements
- remote analysis of functional routines and process sequences of production machines at the client’s facility
- link machine data to Industry 4.0 applications
- commissioning and service support remote or via I-glasses or directly on site at the client’s facility
- design of standardized applications
- cooperation with PLC / embedded systems programmers for optimized interfaces
Your professional and personal profile:
- electrical engineering education background (e.g. technician, foreman, engineer)
- programming experience with Siemens (S7-300, 1500), alternatively Codesys skills
- experience in the field of software testing and Git code management systems preferred
- experience in and knowledge of high level languages are a plus
- knowledge of network technology in the context of automation, knowledge of scripting languages preferred
- high level of initiative, commitment and strong teamwork skills
- ability to work independently and multi-task
- very good command of German and English, both spoken and written
