Rotary Shear: fast process for all types of start-up waste
Rotary Shear KQ-M is mainly used for safely removing start-up waste and for implementing large width changes. It is located in the corrugator immediately after the Double Facer and has very low maintenance costs, among other advantages.
The features at a glance
Reliably handles even the heaviest formats
Thanks to a design featuring two counter-rotating knife bars, the Rotary Shear lets you safely cut even the heaviest corrugated board formats of up to 3,000 g/m².
With its compact design, the KQ-M can be quickly and easily integrated into existing corrugators. Cutting speeds of up to 300 m/min are standard for the Rotary Shear from BHS Corrugated, making it compatible with all standard order change systems.
An excellent combination
Even higher order change speeds of up to 400 m/min can be achieved without the Rotary Shear by combining the Slitter Scorer with the unique HyperBlade from BHS Corrugated. For further information, please refer to our portfolio of BHS Corrugated Slitter Scorers.
The highest standards
The Rotary Shear KQ-M from BHS Corrugated is CE certified according to the European industry standards EN 1010-1 and EN 1010-5.
