The Glue Unit GU-M is a technical optimization of an already proven design. Glue Units of BHS Corrugated meet the highest standards of reliability, productivity and quality. The automatic, high-precision glue gap adjustment feature ensures consistent glue application at all production speeds. The Glue Unit provides more than just optimal bonding. It also ensures the high quality of the entire surface area. The direct drive of the glue applicator rolls enables individually adjustable speed settings for each Glue Unit level. The applicator rolls are also available with different grids for your individual production requirements.

For excellent user-friendliness

The controls of the Glue Units are integrated into the front panel but can also be operated from the control station. The Machine Control Center (MCC) with its touch panel provides a comprehensive overview and monitoring of the gluing process. For this purpose, the integrated glue level monitoring system features downstream feed actuation.

Keep it clean

The automated glue dams ensure that no adhesives are applied to the tips of the webs outside of the maximum laminating width. This prevents glue from soiling the hotplates in the downstream Double Facer sections, saving your personnel the time-consuming effort of cleaning them. The glue dams can be set individually for each Glue Unit level if needed.
