Health is the most precious thing that any person can have and also companies must be active in promoting and maintaining the health of their employees.
Health management at BHS Corrugated has been an important part of the corporate philosophy for many years now. We are very proud to announce that BHS Corrugated Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH has now been awarded first place in the Corporate Health Award 2021 in the mechanical engineering/heavy industry category!
Since 2009, the initiators EUPD Research and Handelsblatt Media Group have presented the Corporate Health Award to companies with a forward-looking and sustainable human resources strategy, in which health management is also a central part.
"Be Healthy and Strong" is the vision of our Corporate Health Management. It is based on three pillars: Fitness, nutrition, and mental health, and is implemented through a mix of diverse measures, for example our company gym, which is accessible to employees 24/7. In addition to training in the gym, courses or massages are also offered.
The courses can be booked via the BHS Corrugated Fitness App. This also has a lot of benefits in times of pandemic. By offering fixed time slots, we ensure that the number of people in the fitness area is limited. This leads to a minimum of contacts before and after the workouts.
Other highlights from our corporate health program are the stress and regeneration measurements or bioelectrical impedance analysis including subsequent improvement coaching. Also, the menu in our company restaurant is part of the concept. Freshly cooked and healthy meals are on the menu every day - also bookable via an app. Here, also nutritional information is given.

About the Corporate Health Award
The Corporate Health Award is the most prestigious award in Germany for excellent corporate health management. Applicants receive their own Germany benchmark in an industry comparison following the online qualification process. Companies with > 50 % target achievement in the underlying Corporate Health Evaluation Standard are given the opportunity to have their results verified by the audit. From the "Corporate Health Companies" thus audited, the independent expert advisory board decides on the winners of the award each year.
