On November 14 and 15, the Technical General Meeting of the German Corrugated Board Industry Association took place in the conference hotel Lufthansa Seeheim. We were very pleased to be there again after a long corona-related break. Many thanks for the valuable exchange with customers, partners, and visitors! About 460 visitors of the fair got exciting insights from BHS Corrugated into the following topics:
Our Keynote Presentation: A Deep Dive Into the Box Plant 2025.
Area Sales Manager Thomas Murr took the visitors on a journey into the corrugated box plant of the future - the Box Plant 2025. He explained the concept of the future corrugated box plant: Producing packaging for our customer's needs with minimal use of paper - all this in the shortest possible time, highly flexibly, cost effective and individually tailored to the customer. Well-deserved, he received the award for the best keynote presentation!
Spotlight on M2P® Operations
In a short presentation, Senior Product Manager Lifecycle M2P® Victor Naumann explained BHS Corrugated's new service offering for line operation:With the new M2P® Operations Support, BHS Corrugated is going one step further to increase productivity in its customers' corrugated box plants: operators for control station, wet end, dry end and fanfold from BHS Corrugated itself support the customer in production - flexibly as required or by taking over an entire shift. Skills shortages thus become a side issue.
Spotlight on Education
The Lars and Christian Engel Trust is an important educational partner of BHS Corrugated. Why is this cooperation that valuable to us? Because here, education is rethought! In his spotlight "Education. Rethought. Changing the Format of Corrugated Training." Florian Waldeck, design engineer at the LUCE Trust, explains how. A wide variety of learning methods are used to develop a holistic learning setting for the corrugated industry. The latest method: a serious game in which participants playfully learn about the corrugated board production process and increase the productivity of their fictitious company through their own decisions and clever strategies.
Finally Networking Again!
That was the motto on the evening of the first day of the trade fair - finally meeting and exchanging in person again! At a cozy get-together at Westhafen Pier 1 in the heart of Frankfurt, we finished the successful trade fair day together with our partner BOBST and around 200 other guests. A special guest of the evening: graffiti artist Chris from graffitimotion, who created our Box Plant 2025 cube on a large canvas during the event. This made the Box Plant 2025 within reach!
